Institute on the Environment EcoLab Scholarships
Ecolab Learning Abroad Scholarships
Up to $2,000 for students who want to participate in a learning abroad experience while having an impact on sustainability problems. Note: This type of scholarship is available only for approved learning-abroad courses; this summer’s offering is Design for Sustainable Development – India. Summer 2019 applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so please apply as soon as possible and stay tuned for future courses.
Ecolab Experiential Sustainability Internships
Support for students who are interested in an unpaid internship focused on sustainability studies and/or environmental grand challenges. The internship must meet the criteria listed on our website. Applications are due May 1, 2019.
Ecolab Student-Initiated Sustainability Projects
Funding for students who are designing and leading projects to address environmental grand challenges. Projects can be led on or off campus, but student applicants must identify a project advisor. Apply here by May 1, 2019.
The Office of Undergraduate Education’s Non-Profit Scholarship
Do you have a dream of working in the non-profit world? Are you passionate about raising funds for worthy a cause? If so, the Non-Profit Scholarship may help you reach that goal. The Nonprofit Scholarship (up to $1,000.00 reward) recognizes and supports students who have a passion for nonprofit work that makes the world a better place.
Applications for the scholarship are encouraged from students in all UMTC undergraduate colleges. Detailed information about qualifications and the application process is available at the scholarship application site.
The deadline for the completed application is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Scholarship Criteria: Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census. Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply. Be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking undergraduate program during the 2019 spring semester.
