University of Minnesota Sociological Association

The University of Minnesota Sociological Association is a student-led organization of sociology students at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. With the goal of contributing to a welcoming and educational experience in the Department of Sociology, elected student officials and board members meet regularly and plan for events. Guest speakers to these events include representatives from professional organizations outside of the university, distinguished faculty members, university alumni, and graduate and doctoral students. Members of the organization occasionally represent the sociology student body in interactions with faculty members and school administrators.
